Privacy Policy

Our firm is committed to safeguarding the confidential information of our clients. We hold all personal data provided to us in the strictest confidence. We require your permission before we will discuss your affairs with anyone external to the firm. We deliver this Privacy Policy to all our clients initially upon establishing our relationship and annually thereafter. We believe it important that you understand our uses of the information we gather from you.

In performing our services for you, we may gather non-public personal information about you, as follows:

  • Information we receive from you in our conversations, discussions and interviews;
  • Information relating to the services we render to you;
  • Information you deliver to us in a written, telephonic, electronic, formatted, or other form, however developed;
  • Information prepared by and delivered by third parties acting on your behalf; and
  • Information collected from your previous advisors or tax preparers.

Please be advised that we do not disclose any non-public personal information about you to third parties (such as brokerage firms, credit-card companies, or insurance companies) except as required by law, or in carrying out the duties for which you retained us. Further, we restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees and certain service providers who have a business or professional need to know that information for us to provide services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.

Website visitors

The notice above describes how we protect the non-public personal information of our clients. This section describes the limited information we collect from visitors to our website.

Information you give us. If you book an introductory call, download a guide, or subscribe to Insights, we ask for information such as your name, email address, phone number, and the kind of business you own. We use it to respond to your request, send you the material you asked for, and follow up about our services. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message, or by contacting us.

Information collected automatically. Our website uses an analytics service to understand which pages are visited and how visitors arrive at the site. We also use a session-recording tool that records how visitors interact with our pages, such as clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement, so we can see where the site is difficult to use. This tool, Microsoft Clarity, hides what you type into forms and does not place cookies on our website, though Microsoft may set its own cookies under its privacy policy. We do not use it to identify you personally. Our customer relationship management platform may place a cookie in your browser to recognize you on return visits and to connect the pages you view with a form you later submit. Our scheduling, form, and spam-prevention tools each collect technical information such as your IP address and browser type under their own privacy policies.

How we share it. We do not sell website visitor information or share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share it only with the service providers named above, who process it on our behalf, and otherwise as required by law.

Your choices. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when a cookie is being placed. Doing so will not prevent you from using the site, though some scheduling and form features may not work as intended.
